RE/MAX of Eastern Jackson County traces its roots to 1975, when David Rogers purchased his first real estate franchise. Today, RE/MAX of Eastern Jackson County includes four area RE/MAX offices; Heart of America Title, Inc, a title and escrow firm located at each of the four sales offices; and Towne Square Property Management, a property management firm overseeing 1,000+ area rental units.

RE/MAX International, based in Denver, has grown from "a pad of paper and a dream" in 1973 to the No. 1 real estate organization in Canada and in the United States. It is a global real estate franchise network that spreads across 41 countries and eight territories, on six continents. The firm’s 75,000+ Sales Associates in more than 4,300 offices worldwide, on average, lead the industry in production, experience, and professional designations.

RE/MAX, which stands for "real estate maximums," is the only major real estate network still owned and directed by its founders. While RE/MAX of Eastern Jackson County celebrated 25 years of service in 2000, RE/MAX International celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2003.
